Ran defrag, stepped away, upon returning screen states " a problem has occurred...., four options Last known Start that work, normally, safe mode, dos , none work instead this screen cycles over & over. In speaking with locals "whistler ms down load" is responsible (?) and may have to wipe HD. I don't want to, HELP.
 
Boot from your XP CD and repair the current installation.
