Computer would not start... Internet explorer won't run

I get notification of MS updates...so I install them. When I installed SP4, my computer would not boot up. It would come to the blue screen...and start rebooting all over again. So I went into safe mode and uninstalled SP4. It has run fine until I was notified of another update and installed it.

The computer works OK but internet explorer starts..then gives a "I will shut down notice"
sends an error report... then starts the cycle over and over. I would uninstall the latest updates if I was sure I could do that without getting into trouble. Five sections are listed as being installed this afternoon at 4:00. KB828035 - KB825119 - 826232 - 823182 - 824141. Add - Remove programs doesn't give the date of arrival and I have 26 updates on the system. Anybody have a suggestion?

Apparently, 824141 is a bad patch, or so I have seen in
another thread. I haven't had a chance to get back home
and back mine out to see if this works, but try backing
that one out and see if it works.
