Computer wont turn on! HELLLLPPPPPP!

Hello Peoples
Today I put in a new memory chip into my
Emachines T2862
2.6.6 cpu
E210882 motherboard
and samsung 512mb chip of RAM
and I tried turning my computer on
and nothing happend i tried putting everything back to normal but
still nothing I replaced the power supply and the cpu the hard drive
and then the RAM still nothing. What could be the problem

Clear the CMOS battery.

look at the post any good laptops under $500 and take the advise given

If you seat the memory chip wrong you can fry the motherboard. I know
because I once did this.

If you didn't seat the RAM properly when you put it in you can fry the
motherboard. I know because I did it once.
