I have a PII 400Mhz computer with Win2000 recently installed.(clean
install), and it won't power off the computer when I shut down Windows.
I used to have Windows ME on there and it powered off perfectly on
shutdown. I figure it must be a setting somewhere that isn't enabled.
Can anyone tell me how to get this to power off on shutdown?

Thanks,
Snyde

Check the power management setting in BIOS setup. It probably supports
ACPI which should be enabled.
