Shannon in Toronto--Please Help

I'm working on an XP home edition. I downloaded and ran
the programme sucessfully, but the next time I went to
turn on my computer it brought up an error screen saying
that there is a problem, possibly from a new hardware or
software installed on the computer. I would gladly remove
the programme, but if I try to go to safe mode or the last
known good configuration, it just keeps bringing me back
to the original error message. Anybody know how to help?

See if this MSKB article is of assistance, Shannon :

How to start the System Restore tool at a command prompt in Windows XP

You want to utilize a restore point either right before you removed
files from the system with MSAS or prior to it's installation. I would
first attempt to roll back to just before files were removed.
If you did not have MSAS remove any files than you would want to roll
back to just before installing it.
