Computer won't go to Stand by

When i did a Windows update, I lost the ability to go to Stand by . It worked fine before the update and now when you try to log off the Stand by option is there but you can't click on it, and it's not even there in power options now. Any ideas how to retsore it?
 
Hi,

Which update? Was it a driver? If so, you should rollback to the previous
version. This is done from the properties of the device in the control
panel/system/hardware tab/device manager. You can use the rollback button on
the driver tab.
