Erik

I have a computer that won't connect to our network. It
used to connect to the network, but no longer will do so.
In the startup the C:Windows\System32\cmd.exe, I get the
message System error 53 has occured: no network path was
found. Any clues as to what may have happened???
Thanks

Do an ipconfig /all to make sure it still has a valid ip address. If not,
do an ipconfig /renew.

I wasn't sure what you meant by "won't connect to network". Do you mean:

1. It won't join the domain?
2. I cannot access shares on another computer?

I wasn't sure what you meant by "won't connect to network".

I don't even know what the question was!
Try posting your respose *under* the question instead of just your
response. Makes it a little easier to read the thread. Someone else may
come along and read your post other than the OP. They will first
read the OP's question, and *then* your response. They may actually
want to respond to both of you. Thus two heads working on the OP.

My point:
Anyone that reads my post will be three deep in the thread and still
not know the OP's question. Keyword here "THREAD".
