Hello.

I was on my computer the other day and the screen just
went black and the keyboard and reset button on the tower
itself were not responding. I switched it off and on again
at the plug, and when it came back on, the computer would
not boot up. The screen remained blank and Windows did not
load up. I've tried reformatting it, but the computer will
not accept the disc - it doesn't read it as being there
and nothing happens.

If anyone knows what could be causing this problem, or has
any idea why my computer won't boot up, please help me.

Matt.

Your boot files may have become corrupted. A hard disk
drive cable (data or power) may have come loose. Your
hard drive may be damaged. Your power supply may be
defective.
