Recently my system started acting up by not shutting
down. I wanted to determine if my problem was hardware or
software related so I switched hard drives and did a fresh
install of XP Home. With the new hard drive and fresh
install of XP the system would shut down just fine. This
led me to believe that my issue was with XP. I have
installed all the updates I could find, disabled and
removed all but the necessary hardware and I still can not
get my system to shut down. I even ran Norton Utilities
to see if that would help, it did not. Does anybody have
any suggestions for this problem?
Thanks
