Computer will not open to desktop

My computer will open to a black page that states I have incorrectly closed Windows. It lists four options; Safe mode, Last correct mode, etc. (I do not have my computer here because I can not get it open). Over the past 10 days I have clicked and reclicked the 4 options 1 million times. I have found that F2 will get me into a different screen but no matter what I change, nothing different happens when I reboot

Start > Run > type in msconfig > OK
Syst Config Util > BOOT>INI (tab) > *deselect* [/SAVEBOOT]
