After installing update to my firewall/antivirus program (Zonealarm) &
running Spyware Doctor, I rebooted my computer. During boot up I got the
'blue screen' & comp started rebooting. It then gave me safe mode option,
etc. for booting up but no matter which option i choose, the computer goes to
blue screen then reboots to boot options screen.
I have no idea what is happening! is it a virus, hard drive problem, XP OS
problem? I am completely flummoxed and would appreciate any advice anyone has
to offer.

The BSOD on-screen printout is very informative. Just what is the STOP
error code being displayed (i.e., the top 4 lines of the BSOD) and the
service that has been identified, if any?

thanks for reply. I cannot get bsod details as computer immediately goes into
reboot sequence.
Can i freeze this screen before reboot? If so, how?
