Hey hey again!
I am recently back from a trip to wales in which i took my pc with me and noticed that the system volume is far too loud... now usually i wouldn't complain, because i would just turn down the volume on the control panel settings.
But i have noticed that in my "Sound Max HD audio" settings, the sound (even at 10%) is adequate volume, and is beginning to interfere with other things.
For example, my microphone (analogue) will no longer work properly because the pc believes that i am "speaking far too loud" and cuts of the microphone, diminishing the microphone volume until iit subsequently mutes itself.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what my problem may be?
When in wales i used a friends speakers, and although tinkering with sound controls i have done nothing far fetched in recent times.
Any information needed i'll give on request, but here is what i believe is necessary.
Sound card name (apparently) = SoundMax HD audio
