computer turning itself on after it has shut down

Hi

I have Windows Vista and after I have shutdown the computer and everything
is closed after 5-10mins it turns itself back on can anyone help?

Check the Wake-on-lan setting in your bios.
 
"wake on lan", "wake on ring"
and or "scheduled" tasks like
updating.

the above will bring the pc
out of sleep to perform
the tasks.
