My computer was working fine last night. I was playing a
game called Battlefield 1942. The computer crashed after
about 4 hours of playing (yeah i have no life ;P )the game
paused and i could not do anything.
So i did a hard shutdown and left if off until morning.
Now when i startup the computer and i get the the windows
startup screen the computer halts and will go no further.
I have the computer partitioned and windows is on
partition 0 or the main partition.

I can load linux which rules out any computer components.
When i choose to run from the last known config it doesnt
even give me the startup screen it just goes blank and
stops.
When i choose to boot in safe mode it brings up

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\System32
\Drivers\Mup.sys

and stops...
any ideas?

well i went back and put the disk in the computer.. loaded
from disk.. but i did not see an R option. I will have to
try that when i get back home (at work now). Thanks I'll
let you know how it turns out.
