Computer shutting down unexpectedly!

My brand new HP machine with XP home keeps unexpectedly shutting down. I receive the following error code after every shutdown

Error code 0000009c, parameter1 00000000, parameter2 805366f0, parameter3 c4164000, parameter4 00000136

Any ideas what this could be from?
 
Best to contact HP support since it is a new computer.

I've tried - they're pretty useless at this point. I'm scanning for viruses and hoping to find something.
 
according to Microsoft the error message is that there is a hardware
problem. memory, processor or maybe even video. I would call HP and see
where to bring it. If you wan to play with it you could check to make sure
everything is seated properly.

You could get a burn in program to run and it may tell you which component
is failing!
