Don't know how I made it here..... Microsoft has to have
to most user-unfriendly website ever! That being said,
hope someone can help me out. I have next to no knowledge
of computers so please bear with me. I own a Cicero
computer which included Windows XP when I purchased it.
Rigt now, every time I turn the computer on, I receive a
message that says "rpc service terminated unexpectedly..."
I am given 60 seconds to save my work, then my computer
shuts down. Please... What can I do?

I am sorry to tell you that you have the MS Blaster Worm. You first need to
install the update from microsoft. Here is the link to it.
http://microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=2354406C-C5B6-44AC-9532
-3DE40F69C074&displaylang=en

Hit the Download link on the right of the screen.

Then you need to remove the virus. Here is the removal program's link.

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/FixBlast.exe

Since you are already infected, you might have problems during the download,
so do this to try to stop the virus:

Righ click on the tast bar ( to the left of the clock) and select task
manager. This will bring up a window with the application that are running
at the time in the computer. Try to find someting that says: 'msblast.exe"
select it and click on end. After this the virus will be stopped. You then
need to download the patch and the removal tool I told you about. Although
the virus migh stop running, It will activate itself when you reboot the
system.

Good luck
