Ok... heres the problem

When I switch on my computer (Windows XP proffesional),
After about 3 minutes, I get a warning error telling me
that some CRC has terminated, and that the system will
shut down. After I let the computer shut itself down and
start up again, I get an error message (Primary drive
failed due to somethingNT/System.. or something like
that), the computer REVERTS to Windows 98 and begins to
reinstall all the hardware... I Turned it off and started
up again (back to Windows XP this time)...same problem
with the warning again... It's a fairly new computer, So
I don't know what the problem is. Please help me! I have
no idea of what to do! (I'm writing this from my other;
less powerful computer)

You most likely have a worm W32.Blaster.Worm
DISCONNECT the subject computer from any network IMMEDIATELY.

Install or enable a firewall IMMEDIATELY:

VERY IMPORTANT to repair, closing ports is NOT enough.
Download the appropriate patch referenced in Ron Martessl article
below.
You may need to do this at an uninfected computer and burn to CD or
save on floppy.

This is the IMPORTANT fix by Ron Martell:

After this is resolved prevent similar occurrences by installing ALL
Critical Updates from Windows Update.
Keep antivirus up to date and run at least weekly.
Install or enable a firewall.
