I start the Internet Explorer and a minute later I get
this system message saying; Remote System Shutdown
Procdure RDC, Service NT Authority System will shutdown
in 60 seconds. After the 60 seconds my computer
restarts. I can't use the internet. How do I fix this?

As this issue has surely been one of the day I will copy and paste this
reply to you. It is courtesy of George (Bindar Dundat) and Kellys-Korner-XP
site:

<snipped>...It is the result of not keeping up with the security patches as
they become available so here is
the answer compliments of Kelly in the XP group.

To stop the reboots: Go to Start/Run and type in: services.msc. Scroll down
to Remote Procedure Call (RPC)/Logon/First Failure/Restart the Service.

Then close Windows Explorer, End Process in the Task Manager for
msblast.exe, run the edit on line 257 then run the patch listed below it:

This is also C/P from a second of Georges' replies on this issue.
