computer shuts down

I have a week old HP DV 6000 , 2 gig mem, nvidia G card .....when my daughter
is @ an online game like renscape ..a blue screen (that is so fuzzy i cant
read it) pops up and the computer shuts down..starting to happen more often
every day

any suggestions?

two things to do:
1. Do a CHKDSK /F on your hard drive to make sure there are no errors. You
can do this by right-clicking on the drive in Windows Explorer. Then choose
Properties/Tools/Check now and make sure the option is checked to
automatically fix. It will require a reboot. During the reboot process,
CHKDSK will run and will likely fix errors. Watch to see if it does. (If
there are many, you may have to reinstall some things or even do a Repair on
Vista. Hopefully, this will not be the case.)
2. Regardless if errors are fixed, check the nvidia site to see if there are
any updated drivers. Early Vista drivers can be the cause of a lot of Vista
errors.
