excuse my ignorance but like win.xp i am still basicsally
still new to to the world of computers too. but my guess
would be it's booting from the disc if i need it to enter
any system ? am i right or off the mark ( how can i tell?)

Hello Paul,

If your system shows no programs installed it could be that a reinstall of
Windows was performed that installed a new installation instead of
upgrading.

Booting off the diskette or A: drive will have no affect on what programs
are showing up as being installed.
