My computer monitor seems to be working properly and is
fairly new but lately i have noticed that the screen is
slightly blurry. One probably wouldn't notice it at first
glance but if you have to work on it for an extended
period of time you will begin to get headaches from it
being so blurry. Can I fix this myself?

first make sure that you have the monitor and video card (or chipset) set up
properly. Is the resolution proper?
Do you nhave the correct and updated video drivers installed? How about the
cables between the monitor and computer, in good shape and secure? Is you
video card set at the proper refresh rate for that card?

Next, if you are experiencing bad fadeouts and blurryness that cannot be
fixed by the above suggestions, you may want to try another monitor on your
computer to see if that is it. If thats not it, have someone troubleshoot
your video card.

Good luck!

Right click Desktop > Properties > Advanced > monitor . Is refresh rate set
60? This will cause the blurriness that you have described . Reset refresh
to 75 to 85. Jym
