I put together my PC with a Matsonic MS9377C mainboard,
Pen 4-2.6GHz/800FSB w/512K cache CPU, K-Byte 512MB-DDR
PC400 ram and a Radeon 9600SE Graphics Accelerator. I
installed Win XP home edition.
I installed Halo for my son to play and the computer
reboots it's self unexpectedly all of the time. Sometimes
after a few second of play or after a very few minutes of
play.
I've tried different bios settings, different hard drives,
but can't find the problem.

In control panel--system--advanced have you set the error recovery procedure?
IE---Don't reboot on error.

Greg because of the rebooting of your computer I would use a program to find and
eliminate any virus along with a program to find any worms on your computer.

It could be that there is a system event that is causing the computer to reboot. Check the start up and recovey options. Un check the box for reboot at system failure. Also youcan check the event viewer to see what is causing the failure
Right click My Computer > properties > advanced> startup and recovery
Let me know how it goes.
You could also try reisnstalling the Halo software. The computer may not be able to handle the graphics needed for the game.
