In Apiidae had this to say:
My reply is at the bottom of your sent message:
I turned off the auto restart, but no-go.
It still rebooted, but never gave me the blue screen. It just goes
to the starting system info monochrome screen, gets about 5 seconds
into it, then reboots again, and again.
That's not a good sign. Hardware failure, perhaps a short of some type, is
likely the cause. If you're capable of working on your PC then start by
checking cables, get them away from the motherboard in all areas except
where they're not connected to the motherboard or a board itself. If you
need to then use PLASTIC wire ties to keep them away - if you have rails
that's a good spot to wire them. Continued usage of your PC could result in
shock, fire, or damage beyond repair (should such have not happened already)
to your hardware and if you're not comfortable checking these things out
consider a PC repair specialist.
