I have several problems with my computer and don't know how to fix them. i think the kids have altered things and settings.
1. On start up a window appears" System 32". We just X the window to remove it but we want to stop it appearing at all.
2. A window "run.dll" pops up showing an error message. As above we x this window as well but we want to stop it appearing also.
3. Then we have a window constantly popping up in series. It's called svc user and the message says "invalid filename" and we can't x this window.
4. The system is running real slowly. How do we restore the computer to it's original set up and remove anything added since we bought it. We can't find our Windows XP Home operating disc. We have only had the computer for 6 months and we obviously are not very computer literate.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

It sounds as if you may have spyware on your computer. Go to
www.lavasoftusa.com and download Ad Aware 6, it is free and will rid your
computer of spyware. It would also be a good idea to run a virus scan with
up to date antivirus software. You may also want to do a Disk Cleanup, and a
Disk Defragmenter. You will find both of these utilities by clicking Start,
All Programs, Accessories, System Tools.
