I have a beep when I turn on the computer. I am not sure
what the problem is and need desperate help. The monitor
when I turn it on says,"check for signal".
Could someone please give me some insight into what the
problem might be.
thank you
Jackie

The beep is from the BIOS POST.
( basic input output system power on self test )
Your monitor is telling you it is not "talking" to the computer.

Check your monitors connections to the computer.
( disconnect it and reconnect it )
Also your video adapter card could have failed, or may
just need to be reseated in it's slot.

And this has what to do with the Front Page program?

This is most likely a hardware problem. Contact your
computer hardware vendor.

Is your computer connected to the monitor? Double check both ends of the
cord. If it is secure, try another monitor cable. If that's not the problem,
hie thee to a certified computer technician.
