hi there
i seem to be having a power problem with my
computer.it seems to be turning itself off of its own
accord ( which sounds silly i know ). But whilst i have
been using one or more tasks the computer has just
suddenly turned off without warning as if a fuse has
gone. but after turning the comp off at the mains plug
and rebooting it seems to be okay until a couple of
minutes later when it will do it again.
I HOPE THERES SOMEONE OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP
ME WITH THIS BECAUSE IT'S DRIVING ME UP THE WALL.

This is usually a hardware issue. Sometimes it's a sign the internal power
supply is failing, sometimes it's a heat issue, if you are not sure how to
diagnose such an issue yourself, take it to a shop, tell them the symptoms
and have them check it out.

Did you check the Power Option in the Control Panel. Did
the power failure occurs after there is a period of
inactivity. Check if the standby or hiberation mode is
turn on, if its Yes, then turn it off.
Hope that helps.
Alternatively, try replacing the unseat and reseat the
Processor. Sometimes overheating can cause the system to
shut itself off. Funny right? Somehow there are many tips
and tricks that leads to hardware problem(s). Least likely
be a software since its well tested.
Good luck.
