What is the password age range for machines in W2k? 30
days? I know it was 7 in NT, and it worked very well, I
never saw active machines showing up with a password age >
7. Now, however, I do see machines with passwords over
30, even 100, and they are definitely active. I'm just
afraid I can't trust that value to clean up our
environment. Is there anything I can look at to verify
these numbers, or a setting on the DC's that I need to
check?
I will add that those with a password age over 100 are
mostly Network Appliance...I'm not sure why those aren't
reporting correctly.

I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

30 days unless you changed it in a policy. Check the Group Policy and local
policy on the network appliances for a modification to this time range.
There is a setting to disable machine password changes, and another one to
modify the rate at which they occur.
