Whenever I put my computer into stand by afte 5 minutes or so it will itself
go back to normal. Even when I set it to go into hibernation it will
automatically go back to normal without anything being touched or moved !
Someone already posted that some program might be running and it is
returning my computer back to normal, but how can I check what could be
running?
I need to stop this.. it is driving me insane !!

Do you have a wireless keyboard/mouse? These devices constantly poll the
system and will produce those symptoms. If not, you could do a
clean-boot to determine what is running. See:

Yes I do have a wireless keyboard and mouse but even when I take the
batteries out of them the computer will still automatically turn itself back

If that is what if affecting it what can I do ??

I really don't know since I don't use wireless keyboards or mice (or
ever put any of my desktops into standby). I would go to the
keyboard/mouse mftr.'s website and see if there is an FAQ, workaround,
etc. Maybe someone who uses wireless keyboards/mice will post an answer
or workaround.
