I hope someone can help me. A couple of days ago I started my Gateway MX3702
Windows XP laptop and in the process of starting up, I got a message that a
virus was in the computer. I tried everything but ended up having to do a
system restore. I was able to get everything loaded back up but with
problems. All the icons and programs I pull up look stretched and a little
distorted. When I scroll down either in a program in Microsoft office or
scrolling on a web site the picture waves. Everything looks stretched from
left to right. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem, or is it a
lost cause. I have tried everything I can think of. Please if someone can
help I would be extremely grateful. This is driving me nuts.

Thanks, Dan

If everything is distorted, it could be the graphics drivers. You'll need to
identify the graphics card or chip in your Gateway and download the current
drivers for it. Then, follow the provided installation instructions.
