Most of the time when I boot up my computer, it loses track of the date & time,
mostly reverting to some date way back in Dec 1998. But sometimes it reverts to
the date & time that I last had my computer on.
When I boot up, I almost always have to set the date & time to current
standards.
Does that mean the CMOS battery definitely needs changing, or can it be some
other issue or part involved?
