Computer locks up everyonce and awhile

Looking for some info on how I can find out why my puter
is locking up now and again.

Mine is locking up when I let it sit or try to defrag or go online can anyone help??? if there is a legnthy process to fix will you PLEASE email me instructions on how to fix to (e-mail address removed) Thank you sooooo much!!!
