computer locked

Somehow my computer got locked & now I am unable to unlock
it. The sytem will not allow me to log my username &
passcode in, it comes up error. Any advice?
 
If you locked it and it doesn't seem to want to unlock despite good passwords being passed to it, try waiting 30 minutes or more(time more is better). If it still won't unlock, power it off and try to log in, but use this as a last resort.
