Hi -I have had my computer for a year, I would like to know if there is
somewhere I can go to for instructional type lessons ? I can get around some
but still dont feel real confident, Im looking for the basics and maybe some
mid leval type of issues is a step by step instruction format.

I have gone to the help/support and it have been helpful but when go to
something like related items, you have another long listing in that
listing.. and just keeps seeming like lists in lists in lists .....to me.

Im not looking to be a computer great but want to feel more comfortable
with basics. thx

If you have a local CompUSA, they used to offer classes. Also, if you have
a PC Club shop near you, they used to offer classes in how to build a
computer and such instruction is amazingly useful in learning how computers
function as well as seeing what can go wrong and gives you a very hands on
approach to PCs, at least at the hardware level.

What I'm looking for is a more learn at home/own pace type of thing,
something along those lines..
I have a good starting knowledge, but thats about it...maybe even a lesson
type book? or cd?

Hi,

There are a lot of books in the market which can help you to get a start about computers. But accordingly no book can help u out completely.

Only real life experience is the best teacher.

Well, there's always "Video Professor,:
