Hi,
I've installed Windows 2000 SP4 on my Compaq IPAQ PC ( W2K
profeesional Sp3 ) and during the process I noted towards
the end of the process it reboots into the user id &
password prompt. When I've signed in, the PC automatically
reboots. This now happens each time I start up the PC.
I do think its a virus and I've the latest NAV installed
and have patch up the PC with the necessary patches (
blaster, welchia etc ).
I've tried booting up using W2K system disk and tried
using the repair option but the problem persist.
Short of reformatting the hard disk and reinstalling
Windows, could anyone advise on how I recover this and
also retrieve my documents from the PC ? Thanks.
