Computer keeps Freezing

My computer has just decided to stop co-operating and freezes all the time.I have tried system restore but am not able to restore at any date chosen.HELP

There could be so many causes - I recommend a systemmatic approach to rule
out the most common causes. First, let's focus on those things which
optimize computer health - then, if this doesn't solve the problem, gather
information for intensive troubleshooting.

First, health: Go through all the steps on the Computer Health link in my
signature below. See if this solves it.

If the problem persists, deeper diagnosis comes next: Go to the
Troubleshooting link in my signature below. Print out the page. Take notes
in the margin. Answer all the questions it asks if you can. Post back here
with what you have found and with the answers to the questions.

I know this is a lot of work - but it puts us in the best place to get some
answers for you.

CAN YOU HELP????

My computer seems to just decide to freexe up when left
alone for what seems to be undetermined times. The only
way out is a shut down of the power. Is there some sort
of setting I'm missing to stop this?
