For the past week, my computer takes several minutes just
to start up, whereas it used to only take a few seconds.
Why is it doing this and how can I fix it?

Hi,

You may need more ram, hit ctrl+alt+del to bring up the
task manager and click performance tab, see total commit
charge, and see how it relates to your installed memory.
You may need to defrag the hard drive too.
Also, there is a program called Bootvis that might help
search for it www.microsoft.com for details, you may need
to search the net to download.

Hope this helps.
