Be sure the domain name is correct, and there is a correct password.
I have a similar problem that only XP machines see the printer! The ME and
98 machines don't see the network printer.

There are a lot of reasons for this. The first thing I would check is if you
have a firewall blocking acess to your network. If so, you need to configure
it properly. Also, you might want to check if you have File and Printer
Sharing enabled.

Hi Rob,

Make sure the workgroup name matches the other machines.

The workgroup is correct. Sharing is enabled. The XP machines see the
printer. The ME machines simply don't! Any more ideas?

Use Authenticated logon on the ME box.

*** "Windows XP Professional passwords can have up to 127 characters.
However, if you use Windows XP Professional on a network that also has
computers using Windows 95 or Windows 98, consider using passwords no
longer than 14 characters. If your password is longer, you might not be
able to log on to your network from those computers."***
