Windows XP computer freezes

Hi hope someone can help me this problem. I have aol dail up. Everytime I sign on, my computer freezes when everything is loading. It only does this for a few sec.

What operating system do you have? etc

Do you use a third party browser like Firefox?

Have you tried clearing your explorer temporary files and cookies then rebooting?

I was wonder if its this slow aol! lol I do clean files, ect. all the time. I run disk clean up weekly. But I didnt know you had to reboot afterwards. I do shut my computer down completely every two days. But this has been going on for awhile. tks so much hope to hear from you

Hi! it is a common fault with AOL you have to reset your IP address, if you phone them they will issue a new one I did two last week, pain in the arse.
