computer freeze

my computer is freezing up too frequnetly..if im running
multiple programs or if i open a new window. I have xp on
pentium 4 1.8 ghz,why does this happen. thank you

Could be RAM. If you have two banks and the serials are
not consecutive... Get someone to check.
