COMPUTER DOWN!!!!!!

I have been affected by the break in windows security,I
cant even turn my compute ron now,Says that windows has to
be re-installed I have windows xp,,,
Can you please help,I hve called the number that my
internet provider gave me,all it says is for me to go to
the sight and download,,my computer cant even be gotten on
line now,,I am using my sons computer to type this email
and to check my email,,,your system ruined mine,,,Any
suggestions on how you can fix it,,,,,,
I will check back on another computer in a day to see if
you have responded,,,,,,

Disconnect Network/modem cable.
Perform Repair Installation:

Enable firewall IMMEDIATELY after Repair Install:

All Windows Updates need to be reloaded.
Start/All Programs/Windows Update
Install Service Pack alone and by itself.
Then install other updates no more than 4 at a time.

MINE TOO! After numerous reboots...I finally got to the
Updates site...I downloaded updates...restarted the
computer...but it would not restart!!!

It says "Load needed DLLs for kernal"

WHAT DO I DO??
I tell you...this sucks.
