Computer does not standby or hibernate

My desktop stopped entering standby or hiberante mode
after I installed the Beta. The problem persists even
after uninstalling the software. Any ideas?
 
Are you running Windows XP SP2, I notice I have hibernation issues on my
computer too. Its also best if you try getting an answer from the
appropriate newsgroup:
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general
