Olympus, by looking at their web-site, claims that all their cameras are WindowsXP compatible. So you should be able to get going without having
to install any drivers, or if they provided any driver CDs with your camera, install the driver. I presume you are running a WindowsXP box. Please
check if its a USB issue like loose cables and that the camera is switched on only after you connect the cables.

I have a Olympus c-5000Zoom, and when I connect it to my computer USB, ny computer does not recognize it as a removable device. What do I
need to do to correcct this.
