Computer does not appear in my network places

Hi,

Since some weeks some of my computers (clients and servers) does not appear
in "my network places" anymore. I can find them in the "search computers"
window and I can connect to them, but they never appear in "my network
places". Can anybody help?

They are probably in different workgroups. Check your
workgroup names.

Unfortunately not. They are all in the same domain. The domain name is
'pacific'.
:(
 
Check the "File and Printer Sharing" thru your network connections. It should
be turned on...

Yes, it is turned on. ...It is very strange, it works until 2 weeks ago.
Then the servers seem to disappear over night (?). Thank you for your help.
