Hi Rock,

If I understand correctly, your computer reboots itself and then does a scan.

To stop this behavior go to Control Panel / System / Advanced /
Click the Startup and Recovery Settings button / Uncheck the box
labelled "Automatically restart" under the System Failure section.

This will allow you to copy the error message from the "Blue Screen"
To analyse the error, try the steps in: http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm

If the error indicates a file name that begins with ati, or nv (nVidia)
the most likely solution would be to install the latest drivers using
the instructions at: http://mvps.org/nibblesnbits/Video.html#drivers

Jimmy,
Looks like you need to upgrade you video driver, this is what is causing
the crash. Please try downloading the latest driver from your laptop
manufacturer's website. If you continue to have this problem after updating
your video driver please send the minidumps located at c:\windows\minidump
to (e-mail address removed) along with you laptop make/model. I will look into
the crash and get back to you with what I find out. Good luck.
