Make sure you drivers are up to date, especially for your graphics card and
soundcard as well as any peripherals connected to the system.
Also, check event log for errors that correspond to then the system crashes
performing this task. Open Control Panel, go to Administrative Tools, open
Event Viewer. When you find a corresponding error, double click, the
information contained within may give a clue as to the source of the issue.
