I have just bought a new Athlon64 3000 running Windows XP. My machine seems
to randonly crash or at least I have not been able to identify any common
trigger. It goes out to a blue screen which identifies that there is a
problem but this screen disappears to a reboot so qucikly that I am unalbe
to read the text. The last time I identified the word "Win32k.sys" but no
other detail. The machine then reboots and sends an error message to
Microsft which just idenities that there is a driver error but no details of
which driver. Would anyone be able to help?
Some brief machine specs are:
MSI K8T Neo
1 Gb RAM
120 Gb SATA Seagate Drive
128 Mb Nvidia FX 5600 graphic card

First thing, so you can see the error message, turn off "automatically
restart" - under Control Panel|SYSTEM|ADVANCED|STARTUP AND RECOVERY.

I can't answer you, but I can formally welcome you to the Microsoft club of the blue screen. Truth is, you'd probably need to give more specs and details for a tech to help you, but someone may have an idea anyway. Good luck.
