computer automaticly turns on

every weekday at 7 30 am my computer automaticly turns on.I'm pretty sure it
doesn't do it on sat. or sun.. And I vagly remember entering values in some
program or other and can't remember which one.Can anyone help me it is
driving me crazy trying to figure what it was I did to make it start up like
this.I am using windows xp pro and a dell inspiron 8600.

I have no idea what you did. One thing that comes to mind is BIOS settings.
There are often "Wake On" settings: wake on Ring, wake on LAN, and some
systems have a "wake on RTC" (real time clock) or "wake on alarm" setting.
Perhaps you set times in the BIOS menus for a setting of this type?

me.

I did reply to this message originaly to let you know i was going to
check your suggestion because i was in there poking around and it was
one of the only places i have not checked yet but i don't know what
happened it got erased when i left. well i went and check what you said
and guesse what you were right.it wasn't WOL but directly below it in
the list is AUTO ON you can select every day,week days or disable mine
was in the weekdays.thanks alot you don't know the head aches you saved
