I use Computer Associates EZ Antivirus. I am extremely satisfied with this
program.
What I can't understand is why Computer Associates makes it next to
impossible to obtain information from them via email.
Does anyone know why?

Nope. I have used it for a long time (5 yrs or more), and I must admit they
have been quite good about answering questions ONCE you find the way to
submit them. But I did prefer the old-fashioned way......i.e. answering via
email...and not an email telling you to go to your answer on their website.

Cheers.....Heather

Because they are a company that has grown far too large due to mergers
and acquisitions. The corporate heads are more interested in manipulating
the assets to increase their won portfolios than truly serving customers.
Get use to it.

That is the reason why I gave up using Computer Associates programmes.
Originally they were excellent but now getting info is too complicated

So they don't have to read through shedloads of spam to get through to
the bonafide support requestng emails.

Hi

I am wondering what facts you used to arrive at your conclusions:-

" grown far too large due to mergers and acquisitions"

and

"more interested in manipulating the assets to increase their won
portfolios"

Just curious.

.... wasn't CA bought by Micro$oft recently - if that is true then the head
honchos care more about pleasing Redmond than their customers.

Microsoft acquired GIANT and thus their anti-spyware product. Computer
Associates has no equity link to Microsoft Corporation. eTrust is a
joint marketing agreement. CA makes it and Microsoft helps sell it.
