Windows XP Computer administrator?

Today i tried to add an account onto my computer but somehow it managed to delete the administrator because i accidently made the new person the admin. now i have lost all my pc files

Does anyone know how i can get them back??

Any reply will be greatful!
 
Hi welcome to the forum

I'm not actually sure if you can use the restore function for this problem or indeed if you can delete and return to an earlier administrator. Others will know, however

If your using XP

Start/Run

Type: restore

Click 'rstrui' icon

Click next on bottom right of that window

Then see if it gives you the option to restore your system to an earlier date
