HI,
I have two computer with a combined total of 4 users,
I'm looking for a way to intergrate the users account managment to just one
computer. basically make a server/Client atmosphere without really having a
server. (a True server)
basically I want to create complex permissions for users without having to
place settings twice. (on each computer) I ultimately looking to be able to
administer both computers from one terminal, from one .MSC console without
having to "Run as" each time I want to admin both computers at the same time.
the computer keeps loging me in as guest and I'd like to find out how to keep
that from happening too. (automate User Authentication and reject Guest
Connections over a LAN)
maybe I'm getting a bit too complicated, I'm not sure... but even with
wishful thinking I'm sure that these things can be done on these systems.
it's just, it be alot easyer to do than loging into both computers and just
to change one permission setting to a folder, I'd have to do it on both
computers. it's getting really annoying, and you can only use Remote Desktop
before the fact of "there's got to be somethign easyer" hits you.
both computers are running Windows XP Pro SP2
a Standard Switch LAN
i'm not sure if there's any other information that you need. let me know
